Advanced EO stepped up with a generous donation to Moustaches for Kids OC this year -- a community of moustache “growers” who raise money once a year for a local children’s charity. For 30 days, the chapter’s growers all work tirelessly to grow and display their beautiful moustaches. They inevitably will be asked, “What’s with the stache?” and that, of course, is their opportunity to explain their purpose of raising awareness and money for deserving kids.
This year, M4KOC was growing for the Miracles for Kids charity. Miracles for Kids is one of the only organizations on the West Coast that provides monthly financial assistance, subsidized housing, mental health services and wellness activities to families with a critically-ill child who live at or below the poverty level. They create stability when families are crumbling from the financial and emotional devastation of fighting for their child’s life. In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, families are struggling more than ever, and Miracles for Kids is working hard to meet the increasing need. Founded in 2002, Miracles for Kids has a main office in Irvine, CA and a subsidized housing complex, Miracle Manor, in Orange, CA.
